Abstract : Due to their high strength and durability, ultra-high performance concrete (UHPC) are perfectly suited for the realization of particularly exposed building structures. One important aspect of the corresponding analysis and construction design is the consideration of the pronounced time- and load-dependent deformations developing despite of the high density of its microstructure. This material behaviour was thoroughly investigated within the scope of an experimental program and the gained experimental data provided a first comprehensive basis for the development of a rheological material law describing the nonlinear time-dependent stress-strain behaviour of UHPC. In a second step this model was linearized and simplified in order to meet the needs of the construction practice. This paper can only present a brief summary of the entire investigations. Further details about tests and developed constitutive models have been published in [2].
