Abstract : Recently, due to demands for Higher Strength & Retention of flowability in Concrete, Polycarboxylate based Superplasticizer have attracted Concrete producers. Polycarboxylate based Superplasticizer have been recognized to show superior Water Reducibility and slump retention at low Water Cement ratio (w/c). Because of shortage of natural sand and need to adhere to the maximum water content for concrete durability in which the upper value is limited to 185 kg/m³, the use of Polycarboxylate for Water Reduction has been increasing. In light of such concern, a new Admixture formulation has been developed. This new PC can be applied to wide range of w/c from high W/C to very low w/c requirements. Its multifunction makes it all purpose Superplasticizers.
