Abstract : Construction process account for a large share of carbon emission due to highly energy intensive processes associated with it. Embodied energy which plays a major role in the carbon emission during the construction phase corresponds to energy consumed by all of the processes associated with the production of building materials and components. The output of the construction industry, has a major impact on our ability to maintain a sustainable economy overall and has a major impact on our environment. We cannot meet our declared environmental targets without dramatically reducing the environmental impact of construction. We have to change the way we design and build. Construction activity is one of the processes offering assets to investors and hence should develop its processes and products towards sustainable direction, to create innovative technologies to remedy the built environment. The strategy for sustainable construction represents a commitment from the industry to work towards reducing its carbon footprint and embodied energy of its activities, while creating a safer and prudential environment for its skilled and committed workforce. We committed to our self to provide a check/ control the damaging activities at source level, So that not only our buildings are sustainable but our construction sites are also sustainable.
